Campaign Work, Not a Party Booth

What a Photo Booth Brand Activation Is.

A brand activation is a live experience built to get people to interact with a brand, not just see it. A photo booth is one of the simplest activation formats because it gives guests a reason to stop, something to do, and a branded piece of content they want to keep and share. The brand gets the same thing from every session: its logo, colours, campaign line and hashtag on a photo, GIF or 360 video that leaves in the guest’s pocket.

That is the difference from a company party booth. At a company event the booth is entertainment for people who already belong. At an activation the booth is a working part of the campaign. It has a job to do, whether that is stopping foot traffic in a trade-show aisle, giving a launch crowd a shareable moment or making a sponsor area worth walking into, and it has to look like the brand from the first frame to the last. If your event is a company party, gala or conference rather than a campaign, start with our corporate photo booth page instead.

What we bring to that job

    • Branded photo and video templates. Your logo, campaign line, colours and hashtag on every photo, GIF, Boomerang or 360 clip, designed to your brand guide.
    • A sharing screen styled to the campaign. Guests send their content to themselves by text, email, AirDrop or QR code from a screen that looks like the brand, not like us.
    • Guest contact capture, when you want it. Guests can enter an email address or mobile number to receive their photos. If you ask for it in advance, we pass those details to you with your gallery. They are contact details entered to receive photos, not permission to market to those guests, so use them under your own privacy policy.
    • A professional attendant, one per booth, for the full booked window. They run the line, coach the shot and keep the branding straight.
    • The right booth for the brief: DSLR photos, 360 video, the interactive mirror or the share-first iPad booth. Details below.
    • A custom printed backdrop with your branding, quoted separately as its own line item. A backdrop from our collection is included on the Studio, Moment and Magic Mirror booths.
    • Prints where the brief wants them. Included on the Magic Mirror, available on the Studio and Moment booths, not available on the 360, which is video only.
    • Your full gallery in under 24 hours, with every file ready for the campaign’s social, PR or internal use.

What we will tell you straight. If a brief asks for something we have not run before, a booth wrap, a guest-upload virtual booth or a specific reporting format, we say so before you book and either scope it honestly or tell you it is not a fit. No surprises on event day.

    Where It Works

Activation Formats We Are Built For.

Format-level, so you can match the brief. Venue detail lives on our local pages.

    Product launches and pop-ups

A branded booth gives a launch crowd the one thing a launch needs: content that spreads the same night. The Spotlight 360 with a campaign video template is the usual pick; the Studio Booth where the product needs to be seen clearly in the frame.

    Trade-show and conference booths

A photo or 360 booth inside your exhibit footprint stops traffic in the aisle and gives your team a natural opener. We work within the footprints and power limits exhibit halls impose and set up before the hall opens.

Sponsor activations at sports, entertainment and festival venues

Fan-facing, high-volume, often outdoors. The 360 is built for it: four to five guests at a time, no backdrop needed, and it does not require a standard outlet for normal operation.

    Retail and in-store activations

A compact Studio Booth or Moment Booth setup on the shop floor, branded to the promotion, with prints if you want customers walking out with something physical.

    Influencer, press and launch dinners

Smaller rooms, a premium feel. The Magic Mirror or the Studio Booth with a printed backdrop, so guests leave with a keepsake in hand.

Field-marketing tours with a DFW stop

We are the local crew for the Dallas-Fort Worth date: your template on file, the same booth family, no travel fee anywhere in the metroplex.

    Internal brand moments

Rebrand launches, sales kickoffs, all-hands. The booth is branded like an activation; the audience is your own people. For a company party, holiday party or gala, see the corporate photo booth page. For a wedding, see our wedding photo booth page.

    Choosing the Experience

    Which Booth Fits the Brief.

All four attended booths include an attendant for the whole booked time, unlimited sessions, props, lighting, a custom branded template, instant sharing, your gallery in under 24 hours, our own hotspot, delivery, setup and teardown, and no travel fee in DFW. Pick by what you want the guest to leave with.

If the brief says Bring Why
Video for social, high energy, outdoor or stadium The Spotlight 360 Regular-, slow- and fast-motion video with your music and a branded video template. Four to five guests per session. Video only, no prints, no backdrop needed.
Best photo quality; the product must look right; prints possible; headshots The Studio Booth DSLR camera and controlled lighting. Photos, GIFs and Boomerangs. Prints available. Doubles as a corporate headshot station.
Premium, interactive, prints in hand The Magic Mirror Full-size mirror with a DSLR behind the glass, touchscreen prompts, guests sign or draw on their photo before it prints. Printing included for the whole event.
Compact footprint, share-first, budget-conscious The Moment Booth iPad Pro booth. Photos, GIFs and Boomerangs, instant sharing, prints available.
Two experiences in one footprint Spotlight 360 + Studio Booth Video on one, prints on the other. That is our Full Activation tier below.

Not sure? Send the brief and we will tell you which booth we would bring, and why. Standard rates for every booth are on the pricing and packages page.

    Four Things to Settle

    Branding Decisions Before You Book.

    1. The template

Decide what has to appear on every frame: logo placement, campaign line, hashtag, a date or venue, a legal line if the campaign needs one. Send the brand guide and the logo in vector format (AI, EPS, SVG or a high-resolution PNG). We build the photo or video template to it and send you a mockup to approve before the event.

    2. The sharing screen

The screen guests use to send themselves the content can be styled to the campaign: colours, logo, a short message. This is the moment the brand is in the guest’s hands. If you want guest contact details, this is also where guests enter an email or mobile number to receive their photos.

    3. The backdrop

    • A backdrop from our collection, included on the Studio, Moment and Magic Mirror.
    • A custom printed backdrop with your logo, campaign artwork or step-and-repeat pattern, quoted separately with the proposal. Tell us your date and we confirm the production lead time before you commit.
    • No backdrop at all. The Spotlight 360 is designed to be seen from all sides and does not use one, so the venue becomes the background.

    4. Props and set dressing

Themed props matched to the campaign, and stanchions with carpet where the booth needs a defined queue. Tell us what the brand would never be seen with, and we leave it in the van.

    Venue Planning

    Space, Power and Venue Requirements.

Producers check this before anything else, so here it is in one place. Figures match each booth’s own page.

Booth Floor space Power Venue notes
Spotlight 360 About 7 ft x 7 ft of clear, flat, firm, level floor A standard outlet is not required for normal operation; tell us the placement and we confirm Outdoors is fine; grass works if flat and firm; keep a clear ring around the platform for the camera arm
Studio Booth About 10 ft x 7 ft including backdrop and guest space One standard outlet Indoors or outdoors as long as there is no rain
Magic Mirror About 10 ft x 7 ft ideal, 7 ft x 7 ft minimum One standard outlet nearby Ground floor or elevator access, no stairs; avoid direct daytime sun on the mirror
Moment Booth About 10 ft x 7 ft One standard outlet Indoors or outdoors as long as there is no rain

Exhibit halls and convention centres. Tell us your booth number, the hall’s load-in window and whether power is ordered through the venue. We bring our own hotspot, so sharing does not depend on hall Wi-Fi.

Outdoor and stadium activations. Weather protection for everything except the 360 in dry conditions, a level surface, shade for the mirror. We will tell you honestly if a placement will not work.

Insurance. We carry $1M in general liability and a Certificate of Insurance comes with every proposal, so the venue has it before load-in.

    Run-of-Show

    Timing, Setup and Delivery.

    • Arrival. We typically arrive one to two hours before your start time to set up and test. That time never comes out of your booked hours.
    • Booked time. Packages run in two-, three- and four-hour blocks with additional hours available. For an activation, book the window the crowd will actually be there, not the whole event day. If the run-of-show needs us set and idle before doors, tell us in the brief and we quote it.
    • During the window. The attendant runs every session, manages the queue and keeps the template and props as briefed. Unlimited sessions.
    • Load-out. Teardown is included and planned around the venue’s load-out rules.
    • Delivery. Guests already have their content from the sharing screen. Your full gallery arrives in under 24 hours, every file ready for the campaign.
    • Multi-day and multi-booth. Two-booth packages are available today. Multi-day shows are quoted as one proposal.

The general booking flow for every event is on our how booking and event day work page.

    Working With Agencies and Producers

How We Plan It With You.

    1. Brief. Send the campaign brief, dates, venue, footprint and brand assets. The checklist below tells you what to include.
    2. Proposal and mockup. Within one business day you get one proposal with the booth, the add-ons as separate lines and the COI, followed by a branded template mockup to approve.
    3. Approval and coordination. You approve the template and any backdrop artwork. We confirm placement, power and load-in with your venue or producer before event day.
    4. Event day. Early arrival, set and tested before the first guest, attendant for the full window, clean load-out.
    5. Delivery. Gallery in under 24 hours, and the guest contact details if you asked for them.

What you can count on from a local crew: based in DFW, no subcontracted crews, the team you book is the team that shows up; buffer time built into every booking; one point of contact from brief to load-out; and published booth pricing, so the scope is transparent before the first call.

    Pricing, Honestly

    How an Activation Is Priced.

We publish our booth packages, and an activation starts from them. There is no separate activation rate card and no hidden minimum. Custom branding, prints, backdrop production, additional staffing, venue requirements and event complexity can affect the final number, and your proposal shows each one as its own line.

The starting point: the standard package for the booth the brief calls for

Booth 2 hours 3 hours 4 hours Extra hour
    Spotlight 360 $549 $699 $799 $100
    Studio Booth $549 $699 $799 $100
    Magic Mirror $699 (two-hour minimum) $849 $999 $150
    Moment Booth $499 $599 $699 $100

Every package already includes the attendant, unlimited sessions, props, lighting, a custom branded template, instant sharing, the gallery, our hotspot, delivery, setup, teardown and early arrival, with no travel fee anywhere in Dallas-Fort Worth. Full details on the pricing and packages page.

What gets added as its own line on the proposal

Line item How it is priced
Additional hours $100 per hour (Studio, 360, Moment); $150 per hour (Magic Mirror)
Photo prints Included on the Magic Mirror; +$100 for the full booked time on the Studio or Moment Booth, one print per guest in each photo, 2×6 strips or 4×6
Second booth The second booth’s standard package
Custom printed backdrop with your branding Quoted separately per brief
Branded sharing screen and template Included with every attended booth

Corporate headshot station (Studio Booth) Built on the Studio package; the headshot setup is quoted per event

    Comparing Vendors

Questions to Ask Any Photo Booth Vendor.

    Use these on us too.

    1. Is an attendant included for the whole window, or is it a drop-off? Ours is included on every attended booth for the full booked time. We do not send a self-service booth to an activation.
    2. What exactly is branded: the template, the sharing screen, the backdrop, the booth itself? Ours: template and sharing screen included; custom backdrop quoted separately; anything beyond that is scoped in the proposal.
    3. Is there a cap on sessions, photos or videos? None on our attended booths.
    4. Do guests need the venue’s Wi-Fi or an app to get their content? No app; we bring our own hotspot.
    5. Can guests leave contact details, and who owns them? Guests can enter an email or mobile number to receive their photos. If you ask for them, they are passed to you as contact details entered to receive photos, not as marketing consent.
    6. When do we get the full gallery, and in what form? Under 24 hours, as an online gallery.
    7. Are you insured, and when do we get the COI? $1M general liability; COI with every proposal.
    8. What does the booth need from the venue? The space and power table above, in writing, before you sign.
    9. Who actually shows up? Our own DFW team, no subcontracted crews.
    10. Is the price published, and what is extra? Yes, and the pricing section above lists the extras.

    Before You Brief Us

    Brand Activation FAQ.

Do you work directly with agencies and production companies?

Yes. Most activation bookings come through an agency or an in-house events team. You get one proposal with the booth, the add-ons as separate lines and the COI, and one point of contact from brief to load-out.

Can you match our brand guidelines exactly?

The template and the sharing screen are designed to your brand guide: logo, colours, fonts, campaign line, hashtag. Send vector logos and the guide with the brief. A custom printed backdrop with the same artwork is quoted separately.

What files do you need, and when?

A vector logo (AI, EPS, SVG) or a high-resolution PNG, the brand guide, and any campaign artwork. The earlier the better. A custom printed backdrop has a production lead time, which we confirm with your date before you commit.

Do guests have to give an email to get their photo?

No. Guests send the content to themselves by text, email, AirDrop or QR code. If you want guest contact details, guests can enter an email address or mobile number to receive their photos and we pass those details to you with the gallery. They are contact details entered to receive photos, not permission to market to those guests.

Can you run two booths, or a multi-day show?

Two-booth packages are available today, for example a Spotlight 360 for video and a Studio Booth for prints in the same footprint. Multi-day shows are quoted as one proposal.

What does the booth need from the venue?

About 7 x 7 ft of flat, level floor for the 360 (no outlet required for normal operation), or about 10 x 7 ft and one standard outlet for the Studio, Moment or Magic Mirror. Ground-floor or elevator access for the Mirror. We confirm placement with you before the event.

    How is an activation priced?

From the published booth package for the booth you choose, plus the add-ons you pick as separate lines: extra hours, prints, a second booth, a custom printed backdrop. Multi-event bookings get custom pricing. The pricing and packages page has every standard rate.

    How fast do you respond?

Within one business day, with a proposal. If a date, a placement or a brief is not a fit, we tell you that just as fast.
